Since Michaela and Bruce’s first date, they’ve been inseparable and have spent every day together. They had a gorgeous September day with puffy white clouds….perfect for their outdoor ceremony. Their special day was even capped off with one of our famous end-of-summer sunsets.
They chose our venue because they loved our historic barn with it’s spacious wooden ceiling and its simplicity. They also felt taken care of and that our focus was on the couple.
Their wedding theme was very organic with lots of texture and neutral colors of burnt orange, cream, and tan. The pops of rust was striking and perfect for a beautiful fall wedding.
Their first dance was to “Blessed” by Thomas Rhett and they ended the night with a last dance, just the two of them on the dance floor. That was their favorite moment.
We loved that Michaela’s family and friends helped out with the desserts (her high school teacher and aunt made them!) while her sister and cousin helped with her makeup and hair.
Brittaney Huff of Britt Huff Photography did an amazing job of capturing all of the sweet moments, from the two of them getting ready, fun photos with the bridal party, their contagious smiles, and all of the little details that tied it all together.
When asked for one word to describe how they felt on their big day they responded with “Perfect.” We’re so happy we could make their wedding day everything that Michaela and Bruce imagined.
