Style: A modern approach to a soft romantic wedding style. “We wanted to put our design through a different lens while we were creating for this workshop. With the use of installations, instead of large centerpieces, different textural mediums like leather, and visit back to handcrafted cakes. We still brought a romantic touch with bits of modern interpretations.”
Color: “We were totally inspired by color in general. The strength that color has in creating emotions and memories was at the core of this design. We wanted to play with orange, tans, and emerald tones. Color isn’t something to be scared of. Strong colors like orange and emerald can be incorporated into any design in subtle ways that can create drama and set any event apart. By bringing in more color we create an opportunity to stick out in a guest’s memory and to create a long-lasting impression.”
Details: “The most notable and unique piece was the fringe installation over the dining table. This 6-foot wide installation made of layered hand-dyed fringe in 4 colors. It was s subtle way to bring in more colors and to show how you can make a big impact with different materials. We also brought in more unique mediums with both a felt and leather bar sign. The paper signs are always nice but this creates a more tactile experience for the guests as they go to order a drink.”
