Sarah and Jacob were originally planning to get married in Sarah’s home state of California, but when COVID-19 threw their plans for a loop they decided to celebrate their wedding at a local farmhouse Airbnb surrounded by the autumn colored hilltops of Amsterdam, Ohio. 

The ceremony was held in the Christ the King Chapel at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio which was fitting for this couple since they met and fell in love while attending Franciscan University. The love, support, and adoration of this couple’s friends and family was palpable from the moment Sarah and her dad started their walk down the aisle and continued throughout the whole night. 

The reception was hosted at the Airbnb farmhouse inside a stunning tent adorned with twinkling string lights and filled with gorgeous florals created by the bride’s friend. The floral palette of rich and bright pinks mixed in with lush greens and happy oranges perfectly complimented the slate blue linens and wooden farmhouse chairs. 

This couple’s wedding was filled with not only stunning but also sentimental touches throughout: from Sarah’s stunning BHLDN wedding gown paired with the heirloom and antique touches in their detail photos to the heartfelt and tearful family speeches. This wedding was overflowing with the sounds of laughter, music, and dancing filling the air as the sun set over the rolling hills.

The wedding night ended with their guests lining up and joyfully waving sparklers in the air as these two ran through towards the beginning of their lives together.
